Honor Platoon Competition |
|
|
| The Honor Platoon Competition (also known as "Cock of the Walk") is an inter-unit, year long competiton between each platoon in the Web Cadet Ranger Regiment. Cadets earn points for their platoon through participation in trades and qualifications, earning a medal, earning a promotion, or competing in Platoon vs. Platoon activities. Points can also be issued to a cadet or platoon by the Command Staff for other noteable achievements. The Platoon with the most points at the end of each quarter will be awarded the Honor Platoon Star, and the Platoon with the most points at the end of the year will recieve the appropriate Cock of the Walk Medals. |

- Decription:
If you had three wishes, what would you wish for? Why would you choose these things? How would they impact your life?
- Entry Requirements:
Entries must be at least 150 words in length, properly formatted, and spell checked.
All entries are to be sent to daniel.gibson@army.webcadets.com.
- Deadline:
Feature opens on 15 September and closes on 29 September 2008 at 20:00 GMT-5.
Winners will be announced on 01 October 2008.
- Rewards:
Every entry will recieve 1 point for their platoon.
The top three entries will receive a Features Medal.
The winning entry will receive 2 points for their platoon and a Cadet Input Award.

- The Setup
1. Each cadet’s entry into this feature will be supervised by the Features Officer and an additional available member to serve as the recorder.
2. Each Cadet will enable the setting for a feature in MSN called “Show What I’m Listening To”.
3. The Cadet will then begin to shuffle through the titles in his or her library, following the format of a story. For example: “Born In the USA” “I Will Survive” “etc”…
4. Entries may be a minimum of 10 songs, maximum of 30 songs.
5. Entries must be cleared by Features NCO prior to officially entering by posting your submission in this feature’s thread. Please observe radio silence otherwise. Only entries should be posted in this thread.
6. Top three will be chosen by the Features NCO, and a vote will be held in the forums to determine the winner.
