A picture is worth a thousand words...Round 2

Rangers, time to get fired up for round two. Since this went over so well last time, we are going to give it another go. The more participation the better.

So your mission guys is to come up with the best caption for this picture, the more off the wall the better, but keep it tasteful.

Note: Everyone can participate, top entry from each unit will get some cash, and the top Ranger will get a features medal.

Swag is as follows:

1st Place (Top Entry from Each Unit): - 12,000 Vbux

2nd Place: - 10,000 Vbux

3rd Place- 8,000 Vbux

And for the Top Ranger to add to the pot, you also get some new "bling".

Field Training Exercise

Beginning in September, the Web Cadet Ranger Regiment will engage one of the other units in a quarter-long competition that will include a number of activities as decided by the Commanding Officers of each unit that chooses to participate. Each cadet who participates will recieve points for their team, and the unit with the most points at the end of the exercise will be crowned the winner until the next Field Training Exercise takes place. Check this space for the 4th Quarter FTX between the Web Cadet Ranger Regiment and the 1st Marines Company.

Ranger's Race for the Trades Trophy

Rangers,
We're a little behind the Navy and AF in the Race for the 2008 Trades Trophy but I'm confident with some team work we can catch that up and bring the Trophy home.
The Skipper of the Navy is offering what I consider an excellent incentive program to all sailors for working on Trades and Quals. Therefore, effective February and continuing throughout this year (unless I'm told to stand this down by higher authority) the following is in effect for personnel of all ranks wearing a Green uniform:

The Rangers' Race for the Trades Trophy!

If you contribute 30% or more of the Unit Trades during a month, you will earn:

An Assignment Award.

If you contribute 20% or more of the Unit Trades during a month, you will earn:

A Cadet Input Award.

If you contribute 10% or more of the Unit Trades during a month, you will earn:

A Features Medal.

If you contribute 5% or more of the Unit Trades during a month, you will earn:

A Letter of Commendation.

So, on the 1st or 2nd of each month, I will announce the winners of the previous months Race. This is an excellent opportunity to earn a medal or two and to help us win the Trophy!
